WILLIAMSBURG, Va. 鈥� The William & Mary football team's 2026 season opener at Villanova will be played on Friday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. The contest was originally scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 29. The 2026 campaign will mark the beginning of a new era in the program's storied history, as the Tribe embarks upon its inaugural season in the Patriot League and will square off against all nine league opponents.
