CLINTON, Miss. 鈥� Mississippi Christian University continued its tradition of academic excellence during the 2025-26 academic year, placing 16 student-athletes on the Gulf South Conference All-Academic Teams while 132 Choctaws earned recognition on the league's Academic Honor Roll. The All-Academic Teams recognize the top student-athletes in each conference-sponsored sport based on academic achievement, athletic contributions and overall involvement. To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, have completed at least one full year at their institution and be a starter or significant contributor within their sport.
