Two Baseball Players Earn All-America Honors
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss senior right-handed pitcher Colby Allen (Louisville, Miss.) and sophomore right-hander Camden Clark (Laurel, Miss.) were each named to All-America teams Wednesday afternoon. Allen earned second-team honors by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and third-team accolades by Perfect Game as a relief pitcher. Clark also was acknowledged as a relief pitcher for the Golden Eagles with a third-team nod from the NCBWA. Allen, who finished his four-year career in fifth place with 92 career appearances, posted a 7-2 record with a 3.05 ERA and a pair of saves. He earned All-Sun Belt second-team honors...
