EUGENE, Ore. – Louisiana's Jemar Ferguson wrapped up his 2026 campaign on Wednesday when he placed 24th overall in the men's javelin during the opening day of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field. Ferguson, making his first appearance at the NCAA Championships, posted his top throw of 201 feet, 9 inches on his initial attempt in Flight 1.
