St. Augustine to build player development facility dedicated to one of its sports teams
St. Augustine has announced the planned construction of a baseball development facility to be completed in the spring of 2027. The 6,800 square foot structure will be the dedicated on-campus headquarters for all baseball operations, the school said in a release. The building will feature multiple batting cages equipped with advanced performance technology, coaches鈥 offices, a weight room and a 34-player locker room. 鈥淭his facility will help our student-athletes maximize their God-given talents and reach their full potential,鈥 St. Augustine athletic director Ryan Sims said in a release.
