North Union, Xavier claim co-ed Iowa high school golf state titles
The Iowa high school golf season is now totally in the books, with the co-ed state meet wrapping up on Tuesday, June 9. Cedar Rapids Xavier's duo of Haley Morris and Jacob Scmit claimed the Class 2A state title, shooting a 70 at the Westwood Golf Course in Newton. Waterloo West's duo of Bree Stegall and Jay McCausland was just two shots behind, finishing in second place with a score of 72.
