Five New Orleans Privateers men's tennis student-athletes received Southland All-Academic honors for their exceptional performance on and off the court. Notable recipients include Jacob Rouleau-Mailly, who maintained a 3.91 GPA while winning 15 matches, and Evgenios Vasilakis, who achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA after transferring from Presbyterian and securing seven singles wins. Freshman Carlos Melgosa led the team with 20 total match victories and a 3.74 GPA. Two other athletes, Gonzalo Cotter and Beltran Fernandez, also excelled academically with GPAs of 3.72 and 3.91, respectively, while contributing significantly to the team's success this season. Their achievements contribute to a total of 23 Southland All-Academic selections since 2020.
