RICHARDSON, Texas— Junior baseball player Chris Benavidez and sophomore women’s golfer Brooke Yount have been named the 2025-26 UT Dallas Student-Athletes of the Year award recipients. The UTD Student-Athletes of the Year are voted on by the Comet athletics coaching staff and administration and selected from a group of Most Valuable Players from each of the department’s 15 varsity sports.
