Halterman Named Golf Pride Grips Midwest Region Coach of the Year
ST. LOUIS 鈥� University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf head coach Troy Halterman was named the Golf Pride Grips Midwest Region Coach of the Year as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Tuesday afternoon. Halterman, the Great Lakes Valley Conference men's and women's golf Coach of the Year, led the Tritons to their best finish in school history at the NCAA Championships finishing second in the stroke play portion of the tournament with a 54-hole total score of 837 (278-281-278) to earn the second seed in the medal/match play championship.
