MIAMI — FIU softball's Kendall Catherwood was named the recipient of Conference USA's (CUSA) Spring Spirit of Service Award, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon. Catherwood received deserved recognition for her excellence on and off the field in her senior season as a Panther. On the diamond, Catherwood started in 51 games and collected 35 hits with 19 RBI as an every-day player for FIU.
