MACOMB, Ill. – Western Illinois Football has announced three staff promotions heading into the 2026 season. Caleb Bonner has been promoted to Defensive Run Game Coordinator/Outside Linebackers Coach, adding run game coordinator duties to his role with the Leatherneck defense. Elven Walker has been elevated to Defensive Pass Game Coordinator/Cornerbacks Coach and will continue working with the team's cornerbacks while taking on a larger role in the defensive game-planning process.
