The Roundup, June 6, 2026: Morton soccer, Dunlap softball wrap up historic seasons, four baseball teams advance to Elite 8
Saturday was all about making history for several Central Illinois high school sports teams. Morton girls soccer and Dunlap softball wrapped up their best seasons in program history as the Potters placed second in Class 2A and the Eagles finished fourth in Class 3A. East Peoria baseball broke a sectional title drought spanning over five decades and Brimfield/Elmwood baseball won a sectional plaque in walk-off fashion.
