Queen Creek junior shortstop Emma Reynolds has been selected the Gatorade Arizona high school softball Player of the Year. Reynolds, the sister of Clemson quarterback/center fielder Tait Reynolds, hit .588 with 10 home runs this past season, leading the Bulldogs to the 6A championship game. She was named by the coaches as the 6A Conference Player of the Year. The 5-foot-11 Reynolds has maintained a 4.07 grade-point average in her high school career.
