Led by a run to the state semifinals by its top double team, the East Lansing girls tennis team finished seventh at the Division 2 state tournament at Midland on Thursday, June 4. Ani Meghea and Evie Laxton reached the semifinals at No. 1 doubles for East Lansing, which finished with 13 points to finish tied with Mattawan for seventh. Meghea and Laxton ended the season with a 22-1 record.
