BSE Girls Go 2-1 on First Day of Rib City Shootout
Brownstown-St. Elmo girls basketball is on a long road trip to wrap up their first week of summer basketball action, competing in the Rib City Shootout in Dexter, Missouri. On the first day of the shootout on Thursday, the Lady Bombers went 2-1 suffering a 60-16 loss to Doniphan, MO, the MHSAA Class 4 2026 runner-up and 2025 state champions to start the day. They then bounced back with two wins, beating Hamilton County, IL, 28-21, and getting a 34-30 win over Southwind (Memphis), AR to end the day.
