DALLAS – Saint Joseph's sophomore catcher Blake Primrose was named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's District 1 Co-Player of the Year on Friday morning. He is the third Hawk to earn District Player of the Year honors from the NCBWA after Kevin Kirkby in 2001 and Andrew Cossetti in 2022. Primrose enjoyed a breakout season in 2026, earning Atlantic 10 Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors as well as a nod for the All-ECAC Team.
