Women's Soccer | 6/4/2026 2:59:00 PM June 4, 2026-Emporia State soccer coach Jane Grimley-Gunn has announced the addition of Josue Rivas to the Hornet coaching staff. Rivas comes to Emporia State from Sporting Nebraska FC, coaching multiple Girls Academy teams, while also serving as an assistant coach at West Side HS in Omaha. He spent nearly five years on staff at Creighton University. His time with the Blue Jays was highlighted by an 8-4-8 record in 2022 that included a trip to the Big East Championship Semifinals.
