Three Chosen to Compete in HBCU All-Star Game
THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University baseball program will have three players competing in the Sixth Annual Minority Baseball Prospects HBCU All-Star Game at 6 p.m. on Saturday at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis, N.C. Shortstop AJ Anderson and infielder Zak Rice were named to Team Larry Watkins, while utility player Tervell Johnson was selected to Team Wilbert Ellis. Anderson, who was 9-of-11 in stolen base attempts this season, batted .222, with 40 hits, including 10 doubles and one home run. In addition, he scored 27 times and drove in 19.
