Serving Those Who Served: Bloomsburg Football Volunteers at Local Veterans Events
Football | 6/4/2026 6:06:00 PM BLOOMSBURG, Pa. 鈥� Members of the Bloomsburg football team continued their commitment to community service by volunteering alongside the Bloomsburg American Legion at multiple events this past week. The Huskies partnered with the Bloomsburg American Legion and the Bloomsburg Elks to assist with the annual Veteran's Fishing Derby, helping disabled veterans throughout the event on Saturday. Players assisted disabled veterans by helping them to and from the water while also helping to bait the hooks of those who needed assistance.
