LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Junior pitcher Madelayne Ruffner (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) of the Shepherd University softball team has been named to the 2026 PSAC Spring Top Ten as announced by the league office on Thursday. Ruffner boasts a 3.78 grade point average as an elementary education major. She collected multiple postseason honors, including PSAC Softball East Pitcher of the Year, the D2CCA and NFCA All-America Teams, and the 2025-26 Shepherd Female Athlete of the Year award.
