Crosshill athlete wins Maps Credit Union girls Athlete of the Week
Crosshill Christian track and field athlete Kasey Zuidema is the winner of the Maps Credit Union high school girls Athlete of the Week, as voted by Statesman Journal readers. A junior, Zuidema won the Class 2A girls javelin (137-4), discus (126-7) and shot put (39-9 1/4) for the rare throwing triple crown at the OSAA track and field state championships.
