DAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia (UNG) softball team placed seven student-athletes on the 2026 Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Wednesday. The PBC All-Academic Team, formerly known as the Team of Academic Distinction, recognizes student-athletes who excel both in competition and in the classroom. To earn recognition, student-athletes must participate in at least half of their team's events as a starter or significant contributor, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
