Dr. C. Roy Rylander Inducted into MAC Hall of Fame
NEWTOWN, Pa. - Former University of Delaware Head Athletic Trainer and Men's Tennis Head Coach Dr. C. Roy Doc Rylander has been inducted into the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Hall of Fame, the conference announced Monday. Rylander joined the University of Delaware faculty in 1946 and retired in 1988. A pioneer in the field of athletic training, "Doc" served the University of Delaware for 42 years as an athletic trainer and men's tennis coach.
