Canada鈥檚 Alphonso Davies trains individually ahead of World Cup
Canada captain Alphonso Davies trained on his own Wednesday as the men鈥檚 national team continued preparations for the FIFA World Cup. Davies, unlikely to play in Canada's tournament-opener on June 12 due to a hamstring injury, jogged away from the main group and went through stretching exercises with a trainer at Centre Nutrilait, the practice facility of Major League Soccer club CF Montr茅al. The Bayern Munich star joined midfielder Jacob Shaffelburg on return-to-play protocols as Canada continues to manage a growing list of injuries.
