Barbers Hill captured the Class 5A Division I softball state championship at McCombs Field in Austin, run-ruling Aledo 11-0. Maddy Ray's grand slam in the fifth inning highlighted a dominant offensive performance, as the Eagles finished the season with 40 wins.
