AAustin, Texas - Senior men's tennis player Alexandru Rares Giurea has capped off his final season by being named to the CSC Academic All-American Second-Team for Division II men's tennis. Giurea was one of three Railsplitters to be named to the College Sports Communicators All-District team, finishing the year with a 10-5 singles record and a First-Team All-South Atlantic Conference honor on the court, ending a career where he earned three First-Team All-Conference awards and was named Freshman of the Year in 2023.
