Three Named to Division III Academic All-District Baseball Team
Three Hope College baseball standouts have been chosen for the 2026 Academic All-District Division III Baseball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators: center fielder Jace DeMann, pitcher Avery McEwen, and third baseman Nick Verduzco. Eligible nominees must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically; have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and have either competed in 90 percent of the institution’s games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution’s games or pitched in 35 innings or made at least 17 appearances.
