CSC ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA TEAMS CHICAGO — University of Chicago junior Sarena Biria became just the third student-athlete in women’s tennis program history to earn 1st-Team CSC Academic All-America honors, as released by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday morning. After spending her sophomore season exclusively in the #3 and #4 singles positions, Biria embraced the challenge of moving into the #1 singles spot while also serving as captain of a young University of Chicago squad with championship aspirations.
