Redlands Softball opens Women’s College World Series Championship with 11-3 victory over Trine
SALEM, Va. – The University of Redlands softball team (47-6) is only one game away from their first NCAA Division III softball national championship after run-ruling Trine University, 11-3, in six innings Tuesday morning in game one of the Women’s College World Series (WCWS) Championship Series. Despite the dominant win, it was the Thunder who held a 3-0 lead after two and a half innings thanks to a three-run first inning when they hit two home runs.
