Giannini Named E8 Men鈥檚 Field Athlete of the Year; Brockport Earns 26 All-Conference Honors
BROCKPORT, N.Y. 鈥� SUNY Brockport track & field collected 26 Empire 8 All-Conference honors for the 2026 outdoor season, headlined by Gabriel Giannini being named Empire 8 Field Athlete of the Year, the conference announced. The Golden Eagles also placed two student-athletes on the Empire 8 “Tomorrow’s Leaders” Team: Mitchell Ellsworth and Monica Cammarota. Brockport’s men totaled 19 All-Conference honors while the women added seven. The Golden Eagles captured Empire 8 championships in the men’s 100m, 200m, 10,000m, 4×100 relay, pole vault, and javelin.
