Four from Baseball named CSC Academic All-District
GREENVILLE, Pa. (June 2) — Thiel College Baseball players Colton Brightwell (Eighty Four, Pa./Bentworth) , Kolten Kruszewski (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prep) , Joey Schimizzi (Willowick, Ohio/Willoughby South) and Cole Sherwin (Karns City, Pa./Karns City) were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team Tuesday afternoon. The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes student-athletes that excel on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible for academic all-district status, a student-athlete must compete in 90 percent of the institution’s games played or start in at least two-thirds of the team’s games.
