Evans Named ECAC Pitcher of the Year
DANBURY, Conn. -- Senior right-hander Tate Evans of the Yale baseball team was named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Pitcher of the Year, as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning. Evans is the second straight Yale pitcher to earn the award, following teammate Jack Ohman's win in 2025. The senior also earned a spot on the All-ECAC Team. Evans was instrumental for the Bulldogs as both a starter and reliever, leading Yale to Ivy League regular season and tournament championships and the team's first NCAA Tournament berth since 2017.
