Backx Earns Academic All-American Status
GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the organization's 2025-26 Academic All-America庐 teams for women's tennis. Fairmont State's Hope Backx was recognized for her academic and athletic accomplishments. Backx earned Third Team Academic All-America庐 honors as she is the first Falcon in the women's tennis program history be named an Academic All-American. Currently holding a 4.00 GPA in Political Science, she was named First Team All-MEC and earned CSC Academic All-District honors this season.
