Wofford Names AFL Student-Athlete Leaders of the Month For May
SPARTANBURG, S.C. 鈥� Wofford College and AFL have announced the Student-Athlete Leaders of the Month for May. The month's honorees are Alec Bouchard from the baseball team and Desirae Devine from the softball team. Bouchard, a junior pitcher from Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, was named the SoCon Pitcher of the Year and a first-team All-SoCon selection. The junior had a 2.83 ERA over 86.0 innings pitched, starting 15 games. Bouchard secured two SoCon Pitcher of the Week selections this season. He had a 9-3 record to lead the SoCon in wins and his 104 strikeouts were the second-most in the league....
