Malone, who broke the program high jump record earlier in the season, cleared a top height of 2.07m/6-9.50 to tie for 31 st among the 48 competitors. The freshman posted his record-breaking jump on Mar. 28, 2026 at the Rice Victor Lopez Classic, clearing the bar at 2.17m/7-1.50.
