Southern Fulton removed from PIAA baseball playoffs, reports
Southern Fulton's pursuit of back-to-back state baseball championships came to a halt before the first pitch of the PIAA tournament was even thrown. Southern Fulton was originally listed on the PIAA Class 1A brackets as the No. 1 seed out of District 5, by virtue of its 4-1 win over Northern Bedford in the district championship May 28. Only the district winner advances to states.
