DAHLONEGA – Six University of North Georgia (UNG) men's and women's basketball student athletes have been named to the 2025-26 Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Team, the conference announced Monday. The All-Academic Team, previously known as the Team of Academic Distinction, recognizes student athletes who excel both in competition and in the classroom. To qualify, student-athletes must participate in at least half of their team's contests as a starter or significant contributor, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
