Hanf, Kruetzfeldt Lead Chico State to USTFCCCA West Region Accolades
NEW ORLEANS – Two members of the Chico State track & field coaching staff received regional recognition from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, as head coach Oliver Hanf was named the NCAA Division II Women’s West Region Coach of the Year and Scott Kruetzfeldt was selected as the Men’s West Region Assistant Coach of the Year. The honors cap a standout outdoor season for the Wildcats, who swept the CCAA men’s and women’s team championships and sent six from each program to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Emporia, Kansas.
