The island boys do it again. James Island鈥檚 baseball team won its third consecutive state championship on May 30, defeating Dorman 5-0 in a series-deciding Game 3 at River Bluff High School in Columbia. James Island finished the season with 31 wins and got superb pitching from Brandon Easterling and Taj Marchand.
