James Island survives, forces decisive game for state baseball title
There will be a third and deciding game in the Class AAAAA Division I state championship baseball series. James Island evened the series with an 8-6 win over Dorman, earning a split of the first two games. Dorman won the opener 9-4. Game 3 will be at River Bluff high in Columbia at 7 p.m. Finn Pratt and Brandon Easterling each has three hits and two RBIs for the Trojans. Taj Marchand and Trip Ostergard each scored twice.
