Five Cowboys Shine at NCAA Championships; Two School Records Fall
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. 鈥� Oklahoma State men’s outdoor track & field capped off the men’s portion of the NCAA West First Round on Friday in Fayetteville, Ark., with five more Cowboys qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships and a pair of school records going down. Opening up the day in the men’s 3,000 Meter Steeplechase, sophomore Laban Kipkemboi qualified for his first NCAA Outdoor Championships with his time of 8:34.42 in just his first season competing in the highly technical event.
