Baseball: Whitman Named ABCA All-American
By: Aaron Rollins, Assistant Sports Information Director LA MIRADA --- The American Baseball Coaches Association named James Whitman to the ACBA/Rawlings All-America Second Team on Friday morning. Whitman had one of the best statistical seasons in Biola baseball history. He hit .439 over 52 appearances. Whitman accrued a 1.531 OPS, a .930 slugging percentage, and a .601 on base percentage. He collected 69 hits, including 14 doubles, three triples and 19 home runs. He drove in 58 RBIs and scored 64 times.
