North Georgia Coaching Staff Named NFCA Southeast Region Staff of the Year
DAHLONEGA 鈥� The coaching staff of the No. 3-ranked University of North Georgia (UNG) softball team was named the 2026 ATEC/NFCA Southeast Region Coaching Staff of the Year, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced Friday. Head coach Brooke O'Hair earned the honor in her second season leading the Nighthawks alongside assistant coaches Darren Harmon and Alea Medina , as well as graduate assistants Hannah Stevens and Hannah Forehand. North Georgia compiled a 51-10 overall record during the 2026 campaign while capturing both the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional and Southeast Super Regional championships.
