Calallen baseball rallies to take Game 1 over Bullard in extra innings
Calallen found itself in an unfamiliar position Friday night. Trailing by multiple runs after the first inning, the defending state champions were forced to play from behind in Game 1 of the Class 4A Division I state semifinals at Buda Johnson High School. But like they have all season, the Wildcats responded with dominant pitching and a late rally to defeat Bullard 4-3 in eight innings.
