OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Arizona Softball's Sydney Stewart has been named an All-American by the NFCA, announced by the association on Wednesday. Stewart was recognized as a first-team at-large catcher. This marks Stewart's first time on the first team and her second straight season as an NFCA All-American. Stewart's NFCA All-America honor brings Arizona's total to 115 in school history, the second-most selections all-time in the NCAA. With the honor, Stewart becomes Arizona's 17th two-time All-American and she is the 33rd Arizona Wildcat to become a multi-time All-American.
