Redlands Softball beats Linfield with five-run seventh in opening game of Women’s College World Series
SALEM, Va. – The University of Redlands softball team (44-6) began their NCAA Division III Women’s College World Series (WCWS) with a 9-7 come-from-behind victory over No. 4 seed Linfield University Thursday afternoon. The Bulldogs fell behind 2-0 after one inning before a wild pitch in the top of the second allowed Adyson Kim to score. A single to third base by Leila Gomez tied the game at two.
