Outstanding Titans Gashaj, Yip Earn #HLTF Outdoor Sportsmanship Award Winners
INDIANAPOLIS (5/28/2026) — University of Detroit Mercy track and field senior Anthony Yip and junior Gabriela Gashaj were recognized for their great attitude in competition as both student-athletes were named the Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Sportsmanship Award winners. The Sportsmanship Award recognizes student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. Sportsmanship is defined as behavior exhibited during competition by student-athletes based on values, respect, and integrity.
