JAGUAR REWIND: Augusta Women Have Historic Season
Augusta, Ga. - It was a historic season for the Augusta University women's basketball season as they won the Peach Belt Conference Tournament for the first time in 33 years in March. The women knocked off Georgia College for the title. The win also gave the Jaguars an automatic birth into the NCAA Tournament where they would fall to Lenoir-Rhyne in the opening round. Quinasia Abercrombie led Augusta in the PBC tournament championship game with 19 points and was named tournament Most Valuable Player.
