Flower Mound Shuts Out Defending Champ Waco Midway in State Semifinal
Bella Flores was nearly untouchable in the circle, striking out three and allowing just two hits as Flower Mound blanked defending state champion Waco Midway 4-0 in the UIL softball state semifinals. The Jaguars broke a scoreless tie in the sixth inning on an RBI single by Flores, then Avery Brock's two-run liner to left-center put the game away. Macy Mays also contributed defensively, throwing out a Midway baserunner attempting to steal in the third.
