Philadelphia, PA – Former La Salle men's soccer standout Ryan Richter was tabbed Interim Head Coach of the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday. Richter joined the Union's technical staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2022 season and most recently served as head coach for Philadelphia Union II. Richter played professionally for seven years, after being drafted fifth overall in the 2011 MLS Supplemental Draft by the Union before serving in various coaching roles within the organization beginning in 2018.
